New Jersey Residence

RKLA worked closely with the client, an accomplished artist and gardener, for over a decade to develop this New Jersey country garden. The original farmhouse dates back to 18th century. A large stone addition, added in 2000, was designed by Mullman Seidman Architects. Building on already existing gardens, RKLA designed and added stone walls and steps, and a stone patio and swimming pool that incorporates large pieces of recycled bluestone. The new stone walls were laid to match the stone house extension. Throughout the project, the talented client selected sculpture and garden ornament that RKLA incorporated into the ever expanding gardens. RKLA continues to collaborate with the client on this and other properties and anticipates continued collaboration for years to come.
